The City of Balch Springs was a Silver Sponsor for the August 2nd and August 16th Best Southwest Partnership TGIF Legislative Series at Methodist Charlton Medical Center. The TGIF Legislative Breakfast Series event is an annual event on the first four Fridays of August. This year’s TGIF weekly speakers were The Honorable Carl Sherman, Texas House of Representatives (August 2nd), Aicha Davis, The Texas State Board of Education (August 9th), The Honorable Royce West, Texas State Senator (August 16th) and The Honorable Dennis Bonnen, Texas House of Representatives (August 23rd).
